Much of our premarital counseling is done by our intern, Jason Owenby, who in his years of pastoral ministry, became adept at preparing couples for marriage—and often performed their ceremonies. Now, having completed his graduate counseling program and working his way toward licensure, Jason brings a further richness of insight to what couples need to consider and work through to launch their marriage on solid ground. So, whether you are young and in love or beginning anew and understand from past experiences that successful relationships require work, it is crucial to embark on marriage with reasonable expectations and a mindset of growth.
