Men's & Women's Growth Groups

The suite of offices housing Figley Counseling & Associates also houses the faith-based not-for-profit entity, Grace Encouragement Ministries, Inc. [GEM], founded and directed by Dr. Figley’s wife, Joanna. Clients who value a faith-based approach to emotional and relational healing are welcome to avail themselves of the opportunities for growth available through GEM. 

Opportunities for women include participation in the 12-month discipleship groups known as Deborah’s Daughters. Opportunities for men include participation in the 10-month groups known as The Reinstatement Project, a faith-based approach to group counseling where Dr. Figley has authored the curriculum and provides much of the teaching. Other than a modest registration fee and the cost of a retreat at month seven in each program, these groups are freely offered—no one gets paid to provide them.
